The ceiling is clad in expansive red-cedar timber panels to provide acoustic dampening and visual warmth against the surrounding grey steel. Externally, the station is topped by a series of snaking, ribbon-like metal roof canopies, while the base preserves original Victorian and Edwardian brickwork arches, seamlessly integrated into the modern 21st-century glass facade.
